Meet the global champions leading the way for G+
G+ Board of Directors

The G+ began the year with a fond farewell to Dave Griffiths, as he steps down as the Chair of the Board of Directors, to embark on a new opportunity with National Grid. Involved with the G+ for many years as a Director, Vice Chair and Chair, Dave’s engagement has helped shape the organisation, from improving the incident data collection and analysis, connecting further with technicians, interacting with stakeholders, especially H&S regulators and delivering high quality good practice as expediently as possible.
Stepping up from her role as Vice Chair, the G+ are pleased to announce Lisbeth Norup Frømling as his successor. Alongside her five years as a G+ Board member, Lisbeth has served as Senior Vice President of QHSE at Ørsted and brings over 20 years of experience in QHSE roles. Supporting Lisbeth is Giles Mackey, Head of Health, Safety & Sustainability at bp, who has been appointed as Vice Chair.
The G+ looks forward to Lisbeth, with the support of Giles, leading the organisation’s critical work driving improved safety standards in the offshore wind industry.

European Focal Group

The European region also sees change as the G+ bid farewell to Garry Bradford, thanking him for his commitment as Chair of the European Focal Group (FG) for the past 2 years. Elected by his fellow members, Graeme Paterson has been appointed as the new European FG Chair. Currently the Global Head of HSE in Offshore Execution at Siemens Gamesa, Graeme’s dedication to offshore wind health and safety will continue to drive the progress of this regional group. Remaining in his position as Vice Chair, Colin Atkinson (Vattenfall) will be supporting Graeme as he embarks on this new role.
Americas Focal Group

Over six months into his role as Chair of the Americas FG, Robb Hall (Equinor) has proved to be a successful leader as the wind industry navigates recent changes within this region. Supporting Robb, Tom Cassidy (OceanWinds) has recently taken over from Peter Lukens (Siemens Gamesa) as Vice Chair of the Americas FG. Tom brings his offshore wind health and safety expertise from Ocean Winds, as the QHSSE Manager (North America).
APAC Focal Group

Almost halfway through his term as the APAC FG Chair, Jeonghyun Ye has helped the G+ continue to grow in this region. Jeonghyun Ye has been supported by Alvin Lin (RWE Renewables), who sits as the regional Vice Chair.
As this FG covers a wide region at varying states of offshore wind development and differing regulatory expectations, it is also divided among country chapters: Korea, Taiwan and Japan. These chapters meet periodically to review country specific topics and gather in-person and virtually for APAC FG meetings throughout the year.
Looking at the year ahead, the G+ anticipates excellent support and representation from Jeonghyun Ye, Alvin Lin and the APAC FG as the organisation’s annual stakeholder forum is hosted in this region for the first time, in Incheon, South Korea.
