Japan Stakeholder Day

In recognition of the organisation’s global reach, G+ hosted its first dedicated Japan Stakeholder Day in Tokyo on 1 July, welcoming approximately 60 participants from across the offshore wind industry. Held alongside the WFO APAC Summit, where G+ was a side-event partner, the event provided a valuable platform for industry collaboration and discussion.
Developers, industry partners, and key stakeholders came together to share perspectives on offshore wind health and safety priorities in Japan, while exploring how international experience and good practice can be effectively applied within local operating environments.
The event comprised three themed sessions featuring speakers from JERA Nex bp, AOTC, JWPA/Giraffework, OEG, OWA, and TOYO. Presentations covered G+ offshore wind data, training, and marine safety, highlighting opportunities to improve health and safety across the sector. Read the full event report here.
Americas Stakeholder Forum
This year’s Americas Stakeholder event will take place on 29 September in Brooklyn, New York, bringing together offshore wind stakeholders to share health and safety experience and discuss key industry challenges relevant to the US offshore wind industry and beyond. The programme includes four interactive sessions covering safety management systems, emergency response, and electrical safety, with opportunities for networking and peer learning. The event is open to offshore wind professionals across the supply chain, including developers, operators, OEMs, suppliers and regulators. Due to limited capacity, attendance is by invitation only. Annual Stakeholder Forum 2027
Mark your calendars… G+ have secured the date for their 2027 Stakeholder Forum!
Location: Clarion Hotel (Copenhagen Airport), Denmark
Date: 3-4 March
The event will feature an emergency response workshop on the first day, followed by an evening welcome reception, providing attendees with an opportunity to connect with industry peers ahead of the main event. On the second day, join the full Stakeholder Forum, which, following popular demand, will see the return of breakout sessions.
Attendees will gain insight into the latest offshore wind health and safety initiatives, emerging industry trends and lessons learned from across the industry. The Forum also offers valuable networking opportunities, enabling participants to build relationships, discuss common challenges and identify practical solutions.
This year’s programme will focus on health, technicians and walk-to-walk systems, alongside updates from G+ workstreams and G+ incident data. Through a combination of presentations, panel discussions and breakout sessions, participants will contribute to important industry conversations and help drive continuous improvement in offshore wind health and safety.
